Adventures in Mexico: The Tree of Tule

Sorry to do several postings back to back, but I need to get out some awesome pictures! And I also apologize for them being kind of long. I had a lot of pictures to show.

On Thursday, we were touristy for a day and went to visit the Tree of Tule. It's one of the oldest trees in the world, and it's a world heritage site! We only had to drive about twenty minutes outside of Oaxaca to get there. It was the Fantastic Five, plus Jeff, Liesa, and three of their friends. John and Jenny are another couple working in the area, and Jacinda was a Journeyman with Jeff and Liesa at their last assignment. Back to the tree. It's super tall, really big around, and evidently really famous. People come to visit it all the time, and according to the info near the tree, it's about 2,000 years old. It was pretty neat.

I love how ornate and colorful Latin America is

The gardens near the tree were sculpted and very well manicured

Seeing all the beauty in Tule was great. It was a fun day with good friends, and we made some great memories. Hopefully, we will continue to be able to make wonderful friends and memories during our time here as we share the good news we hold.
